The 2016 Electoral College Map

If the Electoral College was abolished, Candidates would Spend all of their time in populated cities like New York, Los Angeles, or Chicago. The Electoral College is a system that help reflect the will of all of the States, and their Inhabitants. The original point of the Electoral College was to establish the role of the president. Congress is the voice of the people and so is directly elected by people. The President is the leader of a federation of independent states, and should be elected by those states.

Time

Remember 2000, When the Election dragged on for 4 weeks just because of a Recount in one State. Imagine what a national recount would be like, it would drag on for years.

Every Person Matters In rural States where few people live, their voice is still heard in the electoral College system, if abolished the majority of the vote would be from Urban Cities who don't understand Americas problems.

These are my main two reason's why we should NOT Abolish the Electoral College
